They are good sketches, hands can be very difficult things to draw, especially in some of the positions you've chosen.

yeah they are awesume - hands are always so hard to draw, especially adding the nails onto the finger tips

After a total of 6 hours, spread across a week. ![](http://www.drawspace.com/forums/uploads/1179574928/gallery_42262_1967_33677.jpg) If anyone can help give tips on drawing dark hair, that would be great. I can't seem to get the texture right.

Looking ok so far, glasses can often be quite a tricky thing to draw well. As for the hair I'm not too sure what tipe I can give, although I think the think that makes dark hair work is getting the highlights right. this can often be acheived best by adding in all the dark shading and then removing key areas using a very sharp ruber or a molded putty rubber.

well, my eraser isn't that great, so I can't really do that. I think I've got it down, though. I lightened areas with my kneaded eraser, then drew in the dark spaces between the hairs with HB and 5B pencil. I'm saving the cheeks and the forehead for last on this one because I find shading large areas tedious and somewhat difficult. And for some reason, my light shading scans as white, so the neck and the nose look really screwed up... I'll have to start using my camera. 7 Hours 45 Minutes![](http://www.drawspace.com/forums/uploads/1179574928/gallery_42262_1967_39797.jpg)

I really like this one. I can't wait to see it finished. Like I said her expression is great and not to mention hard to draw. But you're doing a great job ![:)](http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/lachen/laughing-smiley-005.gif)
