Thanks Lianne yeah all the dragons are my own creations. By the writing do you mean the font or did you read my writing on "The History of Gwyddoran" my little fantasy creation? I'll prob revamp this site a bit and create a new one featuring my portrait art stuff not too sure yet.

Well here is the first stage of the Pirates 3 watercolour I said I was going to do. The first couple of hours was torture it really looked like it was going to end end up terrible. But a bit persistance and a few hours later and it seems to be coming together now. Paint is so much more unpredictable than pencil. www.dragons-realm.co.uk/hdrawn/images/Barbossa+Jack WIP2.jpg[/img]

Thanks Rachel and Sinzi, I was a bit wary about trying a watercolour portrait as Its not something I've tried before but its kind of fun trying something new.

How many more talents do you have??!!!! This is incredible, the details lends itself to pencils rather than paint - well done, I can't wait to find the finished article. :-)

Thanks Kathryn you can get a lot of detail with paint if you use a small brush.

This looks really great Keith... You seem to be able to work in every medium possible. Whenever I pick up the brush my hands start shaking like crazy

great work keith so far. I don't know about Barbossas eye; it might be a bit too little, eventhough he has that angry look.

Thanks Shiva, not sure about the eye, looks pretty much like the ref photo I think, although it would be a pain to alter it now, watercolour is not the most forgiving medium to work in. Spent about 3-4 hours working on it tonight so here is an update. www.dragons-realm.co.uk/hdrawn/images/Barbossa+Jack WIP4.jpg[/img]
