It's from my own imagination but I was inspired by mythology and fantasy. I'm glad that you like it.

Thought it could be fun to show one of my work in progress. And of course it will be painted with watercolor. The idea to the drawing is taken from the game, Warhammer. The sketch Half-painted Here I've changed some things and it ended up like this.

Looking good, I used to paint the lead miniatures for warhammer and various other games. Have you ever tried painting in acrylic or gouache as your watercolour technique looks like you use the paint quite thick and opaque, which is more of an acrylic technique.

Looking good, I'm not a Warhammer wiz but my husband is now reeling out a ton of names which probably mean something to you & Keith!!! Space-marines from some chapter or other!! :-)

Jepp I know that my technique with watercolor is a little bit strange but I like that way to paint. I've tried acryllics some time ago but didn't like it, my brush were dry and the color messed up them. But I dont really know what gouache is for kind of paint?

Gouache is like opache watercolour, its basically a thick watercolour in a tube it would probably suit your style quite well.
