i dont know a lot about photography but sometimes an untrained eye can see things in a more 'unbiased' light. also i dont think you have to know the technicalities of something if you like it i think your photos look very professional indeed especially the last few. the last one of them is my faveourite, i also like the black and white one of the lady with the red rose. have you ever seen schindlers list? it reminded me of the little girl in the red coat. i also like the first one of the flowers in sharp focus and the blurred car in the background. you have some neat ideas

Thanks Lianne!
I made specifications on the camera so the whole "professional" look of it kinda made sense. I'm in no ways a professional photographer, most of these were taken as a hobby, since I had to take a crash course on photo for other design purposes and therefor also needed a prof camera.
I think you're right about seeing things in a more unbiased light, the thing about photography that many professionals don't get is that a photo isn't a true representation of reality, but merely a representation of certain context within a frame. I believe a lot of pictures happen to be beautiful not only because they have nice lighting or compossition, but also because they emphasise a certain context that wasn't there at the time, so people who aren't familiar with the whole process are better at catching exciting and unusual images.

As much as I love photography I was never able to take a decent photo They all come blurry and so on. I've always had an obsession for black and white photography and especially the ones when just a certain thing is in color like the one you have with the girl and the red rose. I think it's amazing to see the world around us through the eyes of a photographer. Like you said it isn't just about recreating reality. Hope you'll post more of these. I really like them
