Very early WIP scan of new Star Wars pic. Another coloured pencil drawing, proving tricky to get the right colours on this one, lots of building up layers of colour.

No pastel used just coloured pencil. I am doing a lot of Star Wars stuff at the moment as I am donating 3 original drawings of Darth Vader for a Charity auction in April, although I do like Star Wars as well.

Well spent a few more hours on it, starting to look a bit more like a picture now. This one is progressing really slowly, finding myself having to layer and blend a mixture of blues, purples and varying hues of grey to get the colours I need.

i think whoever ends up owning this little treasure will be a very happy person indeed! i like scenes in drawings when there is a full background and it takes you ages to have a look at all the little details!! cute dog too by the way

Looking good so far Keith...the perspective looks really on!
(Lianne...dog??? Hahaha...for a brief second I was thinking...there was no dog in Star Wars! I thought he might have hidden a dog somewhere in the pic hahaha!) ;D ;D ;D ;D
