Used a little cheat on the hair, I used a bit of white acrylic paint and a very fine brush to add the little whisps. Lianne your latest drawings are totally worth charging way more than £35 for I think you are underating yourself, the last one you did of Drew Barrymore was perfect.

Nice job!!! I like the face of the 1st portrait; she has quite a long neck. WOW on the 2nd. Her hair is naturalistic and very stunning!

Thanks again everyone, cool I wasn't to sure I had my own style thanks Lianne. As far as confidence goes I used to have low opinion of some of my work, until I started doing a local market stall every other sunday. I sell prints there and always take my easil and do some drawing while I'm there. I think the comments from people stopping and watching me draw helped my my confidence in my ability, also a nice ego boost as well :-)

Cheers, yeah I like to use coloured paper with coloured pencil and pastel it seems to make the colour stand out more.
Hey Lianne you should totally give the market thing a go. Apart form the hassel of setting it all up I usually quite enjoy the day, just sitting drawing and talking to people about my work its quite relaxing, especially in the summer when its warm. Not so much in the winter when my hands freeze up though.
